The Cool Roof movement is spearheaded by research that
tells us that the build-up of heat in metropolitan areas
has an adverse effect on our demand for energy, on energy
costs and on air quality. In addition, heat build-up
means higher roof temperatures, which cause roof systems
to age more rapidly. Premature aging results in expensive
roof replacement and more landfill waste.
United Cool Roof Systems was founded with the objective
of providing cost effective, high quality products and
systems that reduce energy demand, lower cooling costs
and contribute to the longevity of roof systems.
